Barriers and benefits of grids

The Financial Times called on the Deloitte chief information officer panel to learn what they see as the barriers to and benefits of grid computing. Barriers cited include a shortage of relevant skills and the lack of a clear business case for adopting grid. In fact, a mere 10% of the panel is currently using grid technology, and only 10% more plan to evaluate it in the next 12 months.
